Michigan Workplace Smoking Ban Passes
 Both the Michigan House and Senate passed a workplace smoking ban. Governor Granholm has pledged to sign the bill. The exemptions are reasonable, the floors of the casinos, cigar bars, and specialty tobacco shops. People can still smoke in their cars and home offices. |

post a commentIt's about time! More and more, we choose restaurants based on whether or not they allow smoking, more than the food and service. I'm looking forward to having more choices available.

In toledo , they made all the bars , private clubs ....they collected 1.6 milion in dues ...that they gave to kids ..and told the corrupt gov't to shove it ....
So it's healthy to smoke in Casino's ...?
It's the same lame way that a gov't run , anything , ends up as an uneven approach to enforcing the law . How can there be an exemption ? Easy. Money Talks. It is the same as the EPA 's unequal enforcment of the Lead Paint Removal Laws . Lead health risk is multiplied as it is removed by scraping sanding etc . To just not have proper paperwork , a 50 thousand dollar fine . To remove improperly ...they send you to the Gulags .....you have to pay the paperwork fairies ...
UNLESS you do it yourself , on your own home ,and have your buddies help . If No Money Changes Hands , no paperwork involved , no fines ,no crimes .....
Is it a health risk any more or less if I pay You ...? Or If you do it FREE ..?
Most people when asked , 'what do you want from your gov't ' will tell you to be "Left Alone "
